PRESS RELEASE

February 26, 2007

Westport, CT. - KES Educational Services, Inc. - www.kmareducation.org - a local based not-for-profit organization held its First Annual Coat Drive. We are very thankful to the PUBLIC - everyone who gave coats to this project, and are proud to announce that a total of 1,160 Winter Coats for Men, Women and Children were collected. Some scarfs, mittens and hats as well.

Our request to the Public to help with this project was met with such individual urgency, especially since the weather had turned bitterly cold. Our drop-off places :Marnicks/Stratford, Oskars Deli/Westport, Eddy's Bakery, Ansonia, Pembroke Cleaners, Bridgeport, Playtime Village, Monroe. Pembroke Cleaners cleaned all coats as they were picked up from the locations,so we were able to meet our deadline February 13, 2007 for Distribution at the United Congregational Church on Park Avenue, Bridgeport, Ct. 12 NOON - PM 4:00. Our Media, Radio and TV Partners worked tirelessly to inform the public, since coats were needed and also reaching the audience in need.

We were in receipt of 560 cleaned coats, men, women and children - Everything is in excellent conditions, very good items and 220 Families with Children, and Individuals were greatful that this was made possible. A week later we received another 600 coats and KES Educational Services will schedule a second Distribution Event.

This project was started January 20, 2007 and without everyones CARING it would of not been possible in such a very short time. Our Thank You goes to our volunteers Mrs. Mary Ann Kendall a Stratford Residence and Mr. Fred Poole of Shelton who cames forward thru the Radio Announcement to offer help. We thank the TEAM from the Bridgeport Rescue Mission and the United Congregational Church for allowing us to be there February 13,2007.

Bagel King , Bridgeport,Bigelow Tea Co. Fairfield , Stop & Shops, Bridgeport supplied refreshments.

This entire project is an act of caring and considering the timeline, it did not feel like labor. My very best and kindest wishes to everyone.
